Whilst there’s no minimum duration, whether the dog sit would be a fit for me would depend on location. I’m usually based in Glasgow, so I’m happy to undertake shorter stays in Glasgow, and longer dog sits only where there’s a larger travelling distance. Feel free to get in touch and ask!

Yes! Previously referred to as a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check, this is now called a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. I have the standard level of check, and I’m happy to share my certificate with you prior to a dog sit for peace of mind.

My occupation and living situation has made it tricky to have pets. I’ve always rented, and landlords have never allowed me to have my own pets. My main occupation is a wedding photographer and this has involved lots of travel and working irregular hours, so I look after other peoples pets instead, usually whilst they are on holiday. I’ve also done voluntary work involving animals in the past, including at a riding stables.

No. Dog sitting is something I do more out of love of being around and caring for animals rather than as a job. My rates are designed to cover expenses rather than provide an income. My main occupations are wedding photographer (in summer) and marketing consultant (in winter). I work remotely when not at weddings, which is perfect for pet sitting.

No. I only offer dog sitter sessions as part of a house sitting service to cover a pet owner being away from home.
